About me:

Richard is the founder of Richard’s Local Dog Training and has spent several years working closely with dogs of all temperaments and behavioural challenges.

His training approach centres around “loving leadership” — providing dogs with calm guidance, clear structure, and rewarding good behaviour so they can become confident, balanced companions.

Richard has worked with hundreds of dogs, from small reactive dogs to powerful breeds needing strong leadership. His own dogs, Beans and Millie, are great examples of how consistent training can transform energetic puppies into calm, well-behaved companions.
